Part 1: Pre-Conference Virtual Gatherings

Each member of the 2020 Minnesota Annual Conference is asked to participate in a pre-conference webinar. This will be an opportunity to discuss the legislation and other items that will be addressed during the conference. Sessions are hosted by district superintendents; you are encouraged to attend the one for your district but may attend whichever session best fits your schedule. All sessions are from 6:30-8:30 p.m. CT. Connection information will be sent via email in advance of the session. There will be a recording of one of the sessions available for those who cannot attend. (You can select multiple sessions if needed.)

Part 2: Procedural Orientation

Each member of the 2020 Minnesota Annual Conference is expected to test out their technology and do a run through of the procedures we will be using for the virtual session. This will include how to vote, make a motion, and ask a question, among other things. There are two opportunities for these orientation sessions. Each session is expected to last about 35 minutes; an hour is reserved to assist those who might have connection issues. Connection information will be sent via email in advance of the session.

Thursday, August 20, 7-8 p.m. CT

Part 3: Annual Conference Session

The sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. You are encouraged to get connected at least 15 minutes in advance to address any issues you may encounter. Connection information and links to materials will be sent via email prior to the sessions.

Optional - Printed copy of conference materials ($15)

It is expected there will be about 50 pages of materials (including reports) associated with the conference. These will be available to download and print as desired (much of it does not require printing). If preferred, you can request a copy of the materials be mailed to you for a fee. We anticipate the bulk of materials being available July 15 and sent shortly after that. There will be additional materials made available the week of the conference. These, too, will be duplicated and mailed to those who have ordered them
